Chanel S/S '11

As you might know I LOVE Chanel products and inparticular the nail varnishes.

The collection is inspired by 'a flower fairytale'. It is about colour, gold sparkles, hol

iday feeling,tropical,jungle. Peter Philips is yet to dissapoint.

I'm not saying they are the best ones around, not at all. They do have a tendancy to chip and appear to look dull after a couple of days (which is normal I know. Am I expecting too much?) I just thought the chipping was due to me being a bit rough at work but I have since changed jobs and they are the same :( in a couple of days they need re doing AND I PUT ON 3 COATS,A BASE AND 2 TOP COATS!

But alas, I have bought this year's Spring/Summer collection. ALL

y) that they were ready to be collected.

I was desperate to try them, especially Mimosa.As soon as I got them home I put it on and the results were amazing! My boyfriend said it wasn't that nice but personally I think it's the best colour I own. Anyway, what does he know?

The first coat was quite sheer, if you didn't want it too intense then you could go for that. The second coat was the best though and that's what I have above. I think this colour will always turn heads. I took the photo before I tidied it up, sorry they look messy.

This one is really nude. I like nude ones and don't own any so this was really a first for me.

Have a look at the other colours. They are also sheer using one coat but with another coat they are more intense.

I cannot wait for the A/W '11 to come out.

'The Lipstick for Heroines'

Can you believe I have never,ever,ever tried any YSL products.So when a counter came to my local Boots store (the one I used to work in) I was instantly tempted to buy.I went in with an open mind (being more of a Chanel girl it's kinda weird to be going over to the dark side) but wasn't overly impressed with the service so I took my custom to Selfridges in Birmingham instead :)

I was served by an amazing French guy that I already knew so it was easy to get something I like. Now I always go for the season collection!But that didn't tickle my fancy so I went for a lipstick from the ROUGE PUR COUTURE range,No28,Rose Boheme. There were LOADS and some of them were very daring but I knew I wanted a rose coloured one.I love the paler ones but sadly they don't suit my skin colour :(

ke the picture shows.It has a slight shine but overall it's pretty matte,which is exactly how I like them. It does exactly what it says on the box. PURE COLOUR SATINY RADIANCE.It has total full coverage,I like them thick and to stay on.It wasn't sticky or easy to rub off.

Clinique Crush of the Year

For a few months now I have been using the 'Clinique 3 Step System'.

I was a bit lazy with it at first but now my life has some sort of routine I have found good time to stick to it and boy does it feel good! One thing amazing about this range is that it is tailored to your skin type. You have the consultation and then you can go away with the ones you want today. It's fab!

Facial Soap with dish 150g £12.00

I have still had the odd menstrual spot every so often but apart from that my skin has been in perfect condition! Which it wasn't before I started using this stuff.

The first thing I use in the day is the soap. I use this when I'm in the showering. I freaked out a little bit when I started using it because I didn't want to wash my face with a bar of soap. Gross!

This is the cleansing step.

I go to the gym most days but I don't go in the steam room or sauna. This is like the same thing. It gets rid of the skin cells, dirt or make up.

You are meant to do it twice a day but I only do it once, in the morning.

The second step is an exfoliator. Now I always think of an exfoliator to have grains, either man made or natural, and to be in some sort of cream. This one is like water, but loads stronger! It stinks and if you get it anywhere near your eyes it stings sooooo much! It used to be prescribed!

It removes dead skin on the service. It also releases trapped oil. It can help prevention spots! You are also meant to do this twice a day to not clog up pores. It can build this skin surface, respond to the environment around us, be more radiant, be tighter.

I love this product! I would use it just on its own to freshen me

up. It is so soothing and cooling. I'm even tempted to give it to my boyfriend to try!

Here is my Clarifying Lotion No3 :)

The final and most important (well,the one I use twice a day like I should do) is the Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel. You only need 1 pump and that will do your whole face. This is a gel but does not make your face oily or greasy or shiny. It is an amazing product! I have had it months and it doesn't look like I have even used any of it. One pump goes a long way.

The skin is more comfortable after moisturising, after getting the dirt out and shedding the layer of the skin this forms a barrier for the day.

I cannot rant and rave about this product enough! It is amazing!

I am deffo going to keep using these and replace them when they run out! The best skincare range I have yet to come across. GO CLINIQUE!

My Monthly Purchase

I do not know why but every month I like to treat myself to a different Chanel nail varnish.I like to get the limited edition ones because after they have been out for a couple of months they dissapear forever *gasp* and are worth alot on ebay so screw that idea.

I don't have all of this seasons colours (Black Pearl 513,Pearl Drop 511,Peche Negree 515),I just have Black Pearl which is amazing!I will be busting that out from time to time.

This month I wanted something a little classic,that has been done but lately a little forgotten.

Fantastic 481 I thought was perfect.Here it is below

I thought the colour went on so smoothly and a colleage at work (a chanel consultant) said "it looked different on me than it does to her".

I filed my nails,buffed them,smothered them in hand cream,1 coat of Chanel Base Coat,2 coats of colour,went to work and the following day put another coat of colour on finally followed by a coat of Boots Nail Strength Solution which is a clear varnish.I find this final product not only gives a shine like I want it to,but makes the colour harder to chip.And with 5 coats on I hope it stays for about 5 days before I need to do anything to it!

First Valentines

This is the amazzzzzing bracelet Tom got me for Valentines Day.I love Vivienne Westwood things and this is no exaption.I love it and think it is sooooo beautiful :) This is deffo something to keep for the grandchildren.Thankyou Thomas :) xx

What are videos?

I woke up this morning and thought about my video collection.I cannot believe that I still own videos!They are rubbish quality and I can safely say that I have had my good use out of them.I decided to write a list of all the videos I own above) I KNOW I HAVE SOOOO MANY!

and I have got rid of some that I would never watch again and I'm giving them to my housemate :) recycle :) (above)

Now I am going to buy all the videos in dvd form :) happy days

This is me and my boyfriend Tom and he is the best thing ever.I get to see him in approx 1hr 40mins and I am very excited :) I am missing him today :)
